Rose the Nose: Gary’s Single-Lung 12-Point
Remember the 30-yard shot with the two-blade mechanical broadhead and no blood for the first 40 yards? Here is how that one ended: Rose the Nose brought home a beautiful Kentucky 12-point for Gary Remmers.

The answer was a single-lung hit. Despite the lung damage, the buck traveled 260 yards before finally coming to rest.
The entry point alone had not told the whole story about what was damaged inside. And the lack of a useful blood trail at the start did not mean the deer was not fatally wounded.
Rosie followed the scent and put us right on him. Where the visible sign left questions, Rose the Nose helped us find the answer.
Huge congratulations to Gary on a beautiful 12-pointer, and thank you for trusting us to help bring him home. For everyone who took a guess on the shot video, this was the outcome!
